THE LOST TRAILERS JOIN BIG BOI FROM OUTKAST IN HAITI RELIEF
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
1.20.10

ATLANTA, GA -- On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Stokes Nielson, Drew Nielson and Manny Medina of The Lost Trailers lent their time and talent to “Atlanta Cares For Haiti,” a celebrity fundraiser hosted by Antwan “Big Boi” Patton of Outkast.

Through CARE ATLANTA, the benefit raised money for relief in Haiti. CARE’s main focus is women and children, specifically taking care of pregnant women, who have no access to medical care. In the past week, CARE has raised around one million dollars for Haiti relief. That number is including the benefit from Monday night.

The Lost Trailers guitarist and founding member Stokes Nielson said, "It's important for us to be a part of this wonderful relief effort. It was inspiring to see so many people from every walk of life come together in a spirit of giving. The Lost Trailers were thrilled to represent country music and to be involved in such a special night." Big Boi and CARE reached out to The Lost Trailers to be a part of this event.
